1. Identify the Area You Want the Stencil to Cover

Start by defining the exact space where your stencil will appear. This could be a wall panel, a wooden sign, a metal surface, a crate, or even a concrete floor.

  • Make sure the area is clean and free of obstacles.

  • Note whether the surface is smooth, textured, curved, or angled.
