Did you know that your business logo can be turned into a custom stencil? When you turn your logo into a stencil, it can be used time and time again and you can mark boxes, walls, flooring and so much more. It’s easy to turn your logo into a custom stencil at Custom Cut Stencil Company! Here’s how:

Send us your logo. When you send us a high-resolution logo file, we are able to produce the best logo stencil possible. There are many different types of files that your logo can be saved as, broken down into either of the following groups: raster files and vector files.

Raster files are graphic files that will store the image in a series of dots. Files with the extension .JPG, .BMP, .TIF, .GIF, .PNG and .PSD are raster files. We can create a custom logo from a raster file, but we will need to spend a little more time finessing the image for you, and this can add some expense to the project.

Vector files are graphic files that store your logo image as shapes and lines instead. The file extensions typically used in vector files are .EPS, .PDF, .DXF, .AI, and .CDR. When you send us your logo in any of these file formats, less time is required to set up the project and this will save you money.

How do you get the correct logo file? The marketing agency or graphic designer that created your logo for you should be able to provide you vector art for your logo. Often, the printer that designs your letterhead or business cards can also provide you with the logo. Don’t worry! If you don’t have the logo in vector, we can still help! Just send us what you have.

Once you have the logo file, please go to our website page at https://www.customcutstencil.com/index.php and click on “Request an Online Quote” for submitting your logo. You can also send the logo to us at sales@customcutstencil.com as an attachment. Please provide the desired logo size and the material that you would like your custom logo stencil to be.

After your custom logo stencil request has been submitted, we will work hard to ensure that the details are accurate and the sizing is correct. For example, if we think the logo size is too small and won’t work well as a stencil, we will let you know what needs to be adjusted to fix it. It is our top priority to communicate with our customers about any custom logo or custom stencil job. We will also let you know how much it will cost to create your logo, including set-up charge.

Once you have received the quote from us and all specifications have been confirmed, we will send a proof prior to production. Also, a logo will need to have something called “bridges” added. Bridges are tiny breaks in the logo used to hold everything in the logo stencil together. Adding bridges is a necessary process that adds durability to the logo. At Custom Cut Stencil Company, we minimize the bridges as much as possible to make sure visually your logo looks great and is an accurate representation of your brand.
