Do-It-Yourself Vertical Sign Stencils

For your consideration, here are some of our favorite designs for home and holiday porch signs. These craft stencils are made of 0.014” thick mylar sheeting. The stencils are 11.75” wide x 48” tall and will come in 2 pieces to save on cost. They are made to fit on a 12” x 48” board, a standard size board that you can purchase at any hardware or lumber store.

The great thing about these craft stencils is that they can be reused to make many signs so you can share with your friends and family, or even make a few to sell at a fundraiser or farmer’s market. For this DIY sign making project we recommend using the paint medium you are most familiar with. The stencils will work great with a spray or roller application of paint. Don’t, forget you can paint both sides of the board!
